BTY..a drag turbine is a turbine that no part of the turbine spins faster than the ambient wind speed..
your turbine does not qualify.
@goose2goose2 explain what you think a drag turbine means.. and ask the birds around the powerplant, nuclear or coal – what they prefer, also most birds have very good eyesight and will not fly into it, with bats I really don’t know, but I think they will hear it a mile away… honestly, did you ever hear about ANY bird or bat AT ALL EVER killed by one of these ? only the pricing in the west is to die for, witch is really bad for the popularity and spreading of these fine green things.

while it’s generally true that VAWTs are not as efficient as HAWT wind turbines, in smaller sizes high solidity VAWTS have a huge Renoylds number advantage. Check out my video’s to see what i mean.
Vertical Axis wind turbines are not very efficient.
